Planning Your Visit
N Seoul Tower enjoys steady crowds year-round, so a little planning helps make the experience more enjoyable. Nestled on top of central Seoul’s Namsan Mountain, the tower is easy to access by bus, cable car, or foot. Tickets for observation decks can sell out during peak hours, and some attractions inside may close for maintenance. Arriving early or late, especially on weekends, can mean fewer people and shorter lines. The area around the tower also offers little surprises, from wooded trails to local snack carts, worth exploring before or after your visit.
- Best time to visit: Weekdays, early morning for quiet views or just before sunset for city lights (spring and autumn offer clear air and beautiful colors).
- How to get there: Ride the Namsan cable car from Hoehyeon station, take the Namsan Sunhwan shuttle bus from several city points, or hike scenic paths from Myeongdong or Itaewon.
- Accessibility: Paths, cable cars, elevators, and ramps make the site friendly for families with strollers and visitors with limited mobility.
- Average visit duration: 2–3 hours covers main decks, outside plazas, and the park.
